"real"

Natalie asked for a "real" guitar for Christmas. Halli asked for a "real" camera. They didn't want the toy version of their gifts. They wanted something that a person of their grown-up refined taste would appreciate.
Natalie acts like a pro with her guitar. She goes through all the motions of playing it correctly, and she ALWAYS has a huge grin when she picks it up. Halli loves the camera. It amazes me, she has figured out how to work all the gadgets on it, and she didn't even have to read the manual? I must be getting old. Things don't come quite that easily to me...
I do, however, see some music lessons in Natalie's future. :)

Love the "real" gifts, and I especially love the expression on Natalie's face with her guitar.

I'm about to go the "real" camera route with Ashlie; we're not having a lot of luck with the kids' versions.

Our girls are growing up too quickly, aren't they?

Happy New Year!
